Buoncristiani Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

This might be the heaviest, most full-bodied pinot I’ve ever had. While very soft and viscous on the palette it was anything but light or delicate. Inky dark purple - almost like a barbera - people who like Belle Glos would love this. Not much going on otherwise - a subtle cherry vanilla oaky note on the palette and a noticeable amount of spicy sweet cinnamon. The wine was almost cloyingly sweet yet had no real complexity.
