Deep red color. Black berries, cherry on the nose. Black fruits and cherry on the palate with a hint of leather. Full tannins up front and a medium-length finish. Paired well with grilled lamb.

Deep, inky color. Dark fruits and a hint of smoke/leather in the nose. Dark fruits on the palate. Lacking acidity and now has a short, shallow finish, likely due to ageing. Past its prime.

Need 2hrs to breathe this wine. Nose is deep dark fruits, a little earthy, barnyard, leather. Nice acidity, smooth rich tannins, full body, high alcohol, similar dark fruits, dark chocolate, med+ length. Good wine with low cost, only HKD170/btl

Bon rapport Q/P.

Blue and black fruits on the nose and palate. A stoniness comes through on the fore-palate that is followed by brine and black olives; there is no jaminess. Lighter mouthfeel than I had expected, though not a flaw. Nice concentration, however this lacks character on the mid and back palate. The flavors seem to sweep away into a short finish. Good - drink now. Day 2: The nose improved to show some cured meats and the wine gained depth on …
