Ultimately not very good. A somewhat excessive buttery note, with too much sweetness. (Served at proper temperature. Mostly without food. With mixed company.)

Blind. Clearly some new oak: vanilla, diacetyl, honeyed lemon, tropical fruit, white flowers. Fruit is ripe, rich with a long finish of apple core. Some texture from oak aging I think.

2024 blind tastings recap; 2/9/2024-9/6/2024 : [tasted blind] pale straw and moderately viscous in the glass. whiffs of vanilla and cream permeate a nose of ripe pear, apple, mango and papaya. creamy in mouth, the palate follows the nose but is buoyed by moderate citrusy acidity that somewhat mellows the subtle butter and sweet notes. very little complexity that places it at the borderline of "good" and "very good". moderate length. [obviously a young Chardonnay with moderate oak treatment. it …

The wine looks light gold colored. It smells like orange, apricot, guava and papaya. It tastes like cantaloupe, guava, mango, papaya and diacetyl (butter). The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine has medium acidity.

Somebody gave as a gift. Cooked with and finished other half with dinner. Citrus and pear. Decent daily drinker. Wouldn’t go out of my way to buy again. Better Chardonnay options at same price point.

Opened yesterday and finished today. Bright yellow. Has a California quality to the nose, but avoids being overbearing in any respect, shows good restraint. Good, technically correct in the mouth, but lacks a bit of excitement or personality. 4-12-14-7: 87/100.

ABV: 14.4% Clear yellow/gold with aromas of pear, lemon and honeysuckle. Dry with medium acidity and medium body on the palette. Flavors of pear, honey, butter and vanilla, as well as a hint of chalky minerality on the mid-palette. Balanced with some complexity and a finish of 20 - 30 seconds in duration.

Hints of lemon peel, lemon curd, and a very light aroma of buttered toast. I disagree with others who have posted. I think it is a good QPR.

Good. F-C's red wines tend to powerful, (over)oaked bombs, so I was nervous about this one. It is actually quite good. Restrained oak, tropical fruits, pale gold color. A delight to drink. No mistaking it for French, but nice. <Wow/Very Good/Good/Fair/Plonk>

Light gold color. Drank 1+ glass at restaurant over an hour. Nose shows nice apple and citrus notes, bright and fresh. The palate is lively with apple, citrus and just an edge of tropical fruit, mild oak, medium body and finish. This is a nicely balanced wine that seems to be consistently reliable and good QPR.

85-86 pts; Clear, straw yellow color. Nice fruit filled bouquet with fruit cocktail, apples, pear and pineapple. Good acidity, not too complex, mostly pear which leads into toasted caramel and honey suckle in an off dry finish.

Flinty on opening but after ten minutes of warming the flavors unleashed and the mouth feel was pleasant. More robust than many pinot and that was pleasurable to me.
