found this in my cellar and was a nice surprise. still shows some fruit, but more on the savory side now. dried leather, sweet bacon fat, dried rosemary and nice finish.

A Rhone blend of Syrah, Viognier, Mouvedre and Petite Sirah I found mainly savoury notes on the nose - olive, cracked black pepper and a touch of oak. The palate is full bodied and showed layered dark berry fruit, well-integrated oak, fresh acidity and lively tannins. 136 cases produced. Silver Medal Winner at the 2008 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Nice Rhone style blend of Syrah, Viognier, Mourvedre and Petite Sirah. Smoky ripe fruit on the nose. Fruity black raspberry palate balanced with moderate acidity and a refreshing if medium short finish with some toasty smokey oak on the end. Very pleasing to the palate would be good with barbecued meats. 14.1% alcohol
