Hofkellerei des Fürsten von Liechtenstein Chardonnay Vaduzer Herawingert

Popped and poured. The wine was yellow/golden in colour. On the nose, the wine showed gooseberry, citrus and whipped cream. On the palate, the wine was steely, with gooseberry and citrus, and with a slightly creamy mouth-feel. The acid was slightly sharp and, therefore, slightly unpleasant, and the wine left a steely aftertaste. O.K. I liked the 2007 version of this wine better than this 2008.
