Initially quite smoky and macerated strawberries, reminded me of new world Pinot, but in the mouth definately old world, bags of acidity and grippy tannin in the mouth. Day two much more together white pepper strawberry and plum, still a whiff of smoke and the oak comes into the mix, some minerality in the moderate finish, good fresh acidity and moderate tannic grip gives it a few more years ahead of it 3-5 I'd say. great QPR for a fiver.
