CrossBarn (Paul Hobbs) Pinot Noir Anderson Valley

Ruby, purple in the glass. Nose of black cherries, but no earth. Tastes very clean, fruit forward, but with some warmth and decent length. Definitely a cedar-like note towards the end. Delicious!

Mouth filling ripe dark fruit and spice flavor with ample tannins. Bigger, juicier, less elegant than Hobbs' Russian River Pinot Noir.

This wine is not from Alexander Valley but Anderson Valley

My system (nose mouth finish) /+/, Tasted on day 2 from a friends bottle. Black, dense ripe fruit, cola, hint of oak, descent balance for 14.7% No listing of vineyards sources so no idea where the fruit is from or how much of it is actually AV.
