Maxem Chardonnay Lucky Well

This isn’t shy. White fruits, melon ? and jasmine. Certainly some oak touch of reduction possibly The palate hits you with real depth and concentration- quite creamy with that oaky reductive style on the backend

Lots of lemon on the front, followed by pineapple, melon and green apple. Fruit flavors a bit rounded showing Sonoma origin. Not as linear as White Burgundy, but more so than a lot of California Chardonnay. A bit of oak doesn't overpower. No discernible butter. Paired with pan-seared grouper for dinner, and the plus-level acidity highlighted the food. Not an inexpensive wine, but worth the money.

Light golden color. On the nose there are notes of honeydew melon, pears. green apples and lemon grass. The mouthfeel is wonderful with layers of honeydew melon, pineapple, green apples and citrus fruit. Wonderful wine from Maxem.
