Ojai Sauvignon Blanc McGinley

Right now the nose is expressive but fairly closed. Even after a day not much change. Green apple as well as a slight vegetal green pepper jalapeño note. Good solid density on the palate which leads me to believe this wine will develop nicely over time. Bright crisp acid and complex minerality. Will probably drink the next one in a couple of years.

Pale straw. Wet chalk, apricot, citrus blossom but very faint nose. Medium-minus acidity that quickly falls flat, light bodied - green apple, lemon skin, bitter chamomile/herbal tea. It’s not horrible but there’s little wow.
