Decanted half bottle for wife, rest of bottle sat recorked for 6 hours before I tried after work. Dark purple with compact rim. Blackberry, black pepper, slight tobacco and cardamom on nose. Dark berry, black pepper, baking chocolate, and tobacco on palate. Long, slow legs with moderate, resolved tannins and a tart acidity.
