Julien Meyer, Riesling Grand Cru, Muenchberg

Blind tasted and guessed a Loire Chenin. Often mistake them for Rieslings especially when they smell of fresh apple cider like this one. Sweet and floral with grapefruit and pears also. Similar to dry cider yet retains a lemony quality and a dash of CO2. No petrol in evidence but some tropical bitterness developed which I often associate with Rieslings. Easy to quaff.
