Brownish color, transparent. Complex nose; oranges, figs, dried fruit, wood and spices. Sweetness that is well balanced by high acidity. Alcohol comes through a little bit, that would be my only complaint. Long aftertaste, licorice toffee, orange peel and dried fruit. A bargain at 23€.

A bit hot upon opening. It settled down with some air time. Drink now.

Found this bottle had been opened from a party I hosted a few weeks back. Bottle has been sitting at cellar temps. Still alive and well and drinking very nicely indeed. Very tasty expression of dried fruits and walnuts. What a surprise!

Been drinking as a digestivo over the past three evenings...I'm afraid this is past its prime...better drink up soon!

On the nose red fruit, oak and some chocolate. Medium bodied, rather sweet and austere, delivering flavors likewise the nose with some heat on the finish. Overall a bit harsh.

The wine is clear and bright with a beautiful pale tawny colour and presence of legs. The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium+ intensity aromas of caramel, walnut, almonds, prunes, dry cherries, solvent and cocoa. Th wine is medium-sweet with a medium+ refreshing acidity, low soft tannins, high warm alcohol for a fortified wine, medium+ body and medium+ intensity flavours of toasted almonds, prunes, dry cherries, cocoa and caramel. Medium+ finish. It is a good quality wine with …

Picked up in a bin end, bargain $10. I quite enjoyed this, a 10yr bottled in 2010, inoffensive and as I would expect from a 10yr. The bottle wasnt finished, but round 2 started 6 days later. Wine had noticeably deteriorated by then.

Not nearly as bad as previous notes suggest. A little rough upon opening but after a week or so it was much better. Drank very well over 6 weeks. Raisins, prunes, walnuts. A very decent sipper for whenever and I wouldn't hesitate to serve it to guests.

Consumed voer 5 days. Nice color. Smooth mouthfeel with typical carmel flavors. A bit of an off flavor on the finish. For some reason, gave me a headache each time I had it....

Not my cup of tea. Get's better after a week, but too hot and artificial. Will never buy again.

Not bad at all but not really representative of its range. Red tawny but in any case an intense one. Sweet aromas of candies on nose and spices on palate. In my modest opinion, this is just for supper, maybe matching fairy cakes or similar. No mal del todo pero no muy representativo de un tawny 10 años. De color rojo pero no muy intenso. Dulces aromas a dulces en nariz y a especies en boca. En mi modesta opinión, …

Lovely color characteristic of other 20 yr tawnys. The mouthfeel is creamy and smooth. Flavors through the heart of the taste are full of caramel and slight currant and dried apricot and big butterscotch which was quite nice. Some harsh aromatics on the nose and the finish (which I suspect come from the wood) kept this from being an excellent 20 year tawny. Merely good to very good, and a little bit of a disappointment given the hype.
