20 minute decant. Nose of black cherries and black raspberries. Vibrant palate of blackberry jam, and black raspberry with plenty of lift, adding violets, light white pepper, and milk chocolate. Fat tannins, blueberry pie, stones, and dusty earth on the finish with some black pepper and floral notes. Very nice fruit-drive Cabernet.

- Brick color and aromas of black currant and violet. It's balanced and has flavours of strawberry, strawberry jam and chocolate with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - I thought it was a Napa Cab. Lush. Great balance. Very good wine.

SB Cab posing as a Napa Cab--rich blackberry and plum fruit, menthol, a bit of tobacco. Well integrated tannins.

Grainy nose of smoke, eucalyptus, and birch wood. Black cherry and minerals give way to gravel, acidity, black fruits, and tar. Big chewy tannins on an oak frame with black currant and leather, finishing long. This wine seems a bit young and could use more time. 91+ points.

Distinct pruney nose, but otherwise a fine wine with substantial character.

Needed an hour decanting. Prunes and herbal jam on the nose, ripe berries and a touch of oak on the palate. Not a very long finish. Interesting wine but not really a standout.

on first opening, was a bit tart for my taste. But with an hour in the glass, and even more so the next day (coravined), this completely faded and it became more balanced, intense and enjoyable, fairly full bodied, with rich cedar scents/flavors prominent, and a bit of menthol with blackberry fruit. I would've guessed Napa but it's from Santa Ynez Valley (Santa Barbara). Good QPR at $39 from LB, better than several of the $50-65 cabs Ive tried recently.
