Appearance - clear, mm plus, ruby. Nose - the half a skunkiness about it. I won’t say corked, but something a bit past prime. If I was served it I would send back. When I pulled the cork I smelled it but thought it would blow off. It has not. Alcohol eye burn. Blackberry fruit. Cooked. Palate - better on palate but not great. Ripe fruit. Unremarkable, but that's not a bad thing. Polished and pure for Cab Franc from the Loire, it's not showing any of the vegetal or bell pepper which I find off-putting. Tasty and simple.

Love this wine. Initial onslaught of fruit that transitions into the classic green pepper of Cabernet Franc.

Gorgeous bright, clear but not especially deep colour. Fully ripe, strawberry nose. Soft, fine and flowing on the palate. Drinking now. This may be something of an entry level wine but the balance is superb.
