What a nice surprise, I thought this had gone missing and then it reappeared in my cellar. Still a brilliant , light, clear color. More on the nose than last time, but still quite light. On the palate, similar to last time, precise, balanced, just a hint of oak. Perfect acidity and lingering finish. Super clean, precise, beautiful modest wine. What it does, it does well. Modest on the nose, in a good way. Beautiful on the palate, plenty of fruit to counter the plenty of acid component. There is some oak, and a bit of roundness, but again just right. Long, long, lingering finish. More than the sum of the individual parts, great bottle of wine.

The wine has at least 5 years to pick. Easy to drink, very smooth, clean, balance and light. The wine doesn't give a lot nor in aroma or in flavor. Yet, it is so clean and balanced that it is still a great wine. I'm hoping it will get it complexity in 2-3 years.

Mandarin/grapefruit citrus meets vanilla, sugar, ginger, and freshly blended sweet cream. Nice acidic backbone gives this the framework to stand up to food, but the butter-smooth aromatics and silky, palate-coating goodness makes you want to curl up to a cozy warm fire and get to know …
