Freiherr von Landenberg Ellerer Pfirsichgarten Riesling Spätlese

The color has a copper touch to it and the palate tilts towards plum which dominates over the usual "Old Riesling Spätlese signature" of what I call "liquified quince crystals". Generally, this bottle could not compete with the last one and this is probably due to a slightly oxidized content. But it hasn't exactly tanked and is nevertheless a great delight !

From a time before mandatory statements of abv content, but by taste and effect I would gage this, too, to be 9% abv (this later was confirmed in an email exchange with the Weingut: they would assume it to have had 8-9%).
