Famille Delouvin Champagne Fauve Brut Nature Symbiose

(17/20) Outstanding 100% Meunier champagne. From a solera system with more than 20 vintages in the system. Aged sur lattes on the bottle for 72 months. Very rich, insane length. Medium+ intense aromas of baked apple, lemon zest, tangerine, apricot, white pepper, white tea, wet stone, biscuit, marzipan, hazelnut. Dry wine, high acidity, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 12% ABV - 5 gr/l dosage - Christmas menu @ Gasthof Perauer, Mayrhofen

Delicious champagne. Lemon and a good amount of toastiness. Great with food.

2022 Disgorged. Still one of my favorite Brut natures.

Kräftiges Gelb, mittelfeine Perlage. Die Nase ist hefig, reiffruchtig, zeigt Kalk. Im Gaumen cremig, viel üppige Frucht, reifer Apfel, feine, nicht allzustark ausgeprägte Perlage. Knockentrocken, angenehm lang, balanciert, mit Backapfel und leicht nussigen Noten im Finale. Das macht Freude.

Needs a bit of time. Nutty, linear acidity gained complexity with air.

I find lots of notes from ripe apple but its still fresh even on day 2. Had it in Grassl Liberte.

Dg 03/2022. Almonds, ripe / sweet yellow apple and freshly baked vanilla pastry on the expressive nose. Despite the recent degorgement this is showing excellent on the palate as well, it's medium bodied, mineral and has a great, lasting mousse. More oxidative in style, ends on a long saffron note.17+/20

Fantastisk champagne! Hade personligen använt denna till mat och inte innan. Vore så klart ingen katastrof innan maten, men den är fyllig och rik nog för att bära en smörig varmrätt. Dricka med fördel ur större kupor
