Opened up slowly in decanter. Less than a week after a move so not showing its best initially. Starting to lose some fruit but enough remains. More red cherry than black berry now. Savoury hint still really enjoyable - chocolate, spice. Might have been just past its best but still showing nicely. An interesting, medium body wine.

Fruit forward without being jammy. There’s tannins but they’re soft and flow gently over the mid palate. Acid adds length. Towards the lighter end of medium bodied. Lush but somehow still elegant. An enjoyable drink now proposition, as evidenced by the 2019 Jimmy. Shiraz 73%, Grenache 24% and Mourvèdre 3%. 14% ABV.

Dark colour but with dancing rays of red coming through. Dry aroma, sawdust, cumin, spices, dark fruit, inviting aroma. Very smooth, milk chocolate, Ripe plums, Mulberry, not too sweet. Medium body but underlying power, long finish. Balanced acidity, tannin sits squarely in the background, providing support but not too obvious. Overall a very well balanced wine, in both the aroma and taste. There’s no reason to cellar it, it is going great now. This is my 4th bottle and from …

Quite deep and dark crimson. Aroma of light spice, white pepper, mushroom, some oak. Surprisingly for a 1yr old blend it requires some decanting. Medium to light body, acidity is perfectly balanced, light fine tannin. Black and red berries, black dominating but a line of cherry and raspberry running down the middle of the wine. Milk chocolate, walnuts, some cloves, light pepper finish. It grows on you after some breathing time, seems to develop more complexity and while becoming smoother …
