Antiquum, Juel Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley

Antiquum Farm Wine Dinner (New Jersey, USA) : This is a blend of blocks from all the Antiquun Vineyards including the Pommard, Wadensville, 777, 667 and 115 Clones of Pinot Noir. Decanted 4 hours before the start of dinner, this wine comes in at 14% ABV. It shows lots of complexity and good structure yet is richer than the "Passiflora" bottling and higher in acidity than the Luxuria bottling. big, bold, youthful, fruit-forward out of the bottle... an up-front pinot at the moment with only a little dustiness showing through right now. more refined on night two. light finish both nights. enjoyable now, will benefit from some more time in bottle.

This wine did not show much until the third day! Low acidity, decent length, a very pleasant hard candy element. Fuller body than most Pinots. These needs time but shows interesting potential.
