Chateau La Roseraie Dumont, Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion

Merlot/Cabernet Franc. Opened three hours early. Restrained nose but a good depth of colour. The red and black juicy fruit was really rather anonymous but the palate was soft. Quite prominent acidity early on and (slightly dusty) tannins which made it a decent partner with food (slow-cooked pork shoulder in a rich sauce).
