Popped and poured crown cap. Aroma of apples. Apple flavors dominate, with pleasant earthy and funky notes. Sour apple finish. Pleasant, firm backbone, attractive and interesting flavors. Definitely not as naturalista as other notes have indicated, so I guess I got a clean bottle. Nice wine, but not a great QPR.

Another stellar vintage of Forks & Knives from the ever intriguing Milan Nestarec, this year making the switch from Grüner to Müller Thurgau for his white. The wine spent several days on skins before resting undisturbed in tank for 10 months - the result is a fascinating balance of tart/tangy with a pleasant richness.
