Too Past it’s prime to judge

Still heavy. No rush, but not sure if it will go someplace better.

Group last, my second in a flight of four blind "Burgundy premier crus" -- and for the same reason: there's a coarse roughness to the wine. (Think Santenay, then think the opposite.) To me it gave the wine some character and substance, to others it was a flaw. This is one of those Burgs that holds up to something substantial.

Not fully evolved yet; hold. At this point it's a little disjointed, but the fruit is still lively and it has v. food-friendly acidity
