Terroir-istes Local - Syrah, Cape South Coast (Cape Town - Las Cases) : (Tasted Blind): Mid-ruby to crimson colour. Lifted, intense aromas of blackberry jam, grappa and cassis. Ripe fruits on entry (very Shiraz-like) with a pomace note and slight rubber reduction. Full-bodied with firm, angular tannins present a gritty and bitter profile that never seems to shake off.
