(17-/20) Outstanding wine, this 100% Carignan from vines planted in 1903. Intense, powerful and energetic. Love this style! Medium+ intense aromas of rose petal, red cherry, red plum, blackberry, tomato leaf, liquorice wood, rosemary, coffee, wet earth. Dry wine, medium+ acidity, medium+ and fine-grained tannins, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 13% ABV - Tasted @ Winery / €42

Nothing to add to Xavier Auerbach's note, still drinking well!

No real notes but this was a stunning wine. I was concerned that it might be over the hill but if you are still holding them, it is drinking beautifully. Nice, dark fruits and beautifully balanced. I agree with Pierre Rovani's assessment from over 10 years ago. I think this could easily go to 2018 if not beyond.
