Would never have picked this out as a CdP blind. Sorry to say this is simply not in the category of so many other wines from this region.

The nose is ripe and somewhat restrained with brooding, youthful aromas of ripe blackberries, juicy black raspberries, some toasty oak tones, a little bit of dried cherries and a hint of almost jammy strawberry. The wine is ripe, round and very soft on the palate with rather sweet-toned flavors …

Produced from Grenache, blended with Syrah and Mouvedre, the wine is elegant, soft, fresh, medium bodied, forward and spicy with a finish loaded with juicy, sweet, kirsch.

Deep ruby red colour. Dark berries, oak and spices on the nose. Taste of red berries, dark berries, oak and spices. Good acidity and a structured finish with hints of spices. Value for money compared to other Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Goes well with lamb and grilled meat.
