We don't get much red wine from Cotes de Gascogne, so we don't exactly know if this one is typical or not. The nose, and the palate both have a very rustic, evergreen, maybe hemlock, or zinnia style flavor influence. The color is moderate to heavy magenta. Surprisingly rich mouth feel.
