Oak and wood bark on the nose. You can smell the age in the nose.

Reddish brown-green. Nose is full and high toned with honey and fresh mint, with a light miso undertone. Entry is vanilla with sour apple, acids firm enough to balance high residual. Will need to have some air time to smooth things over.

Wow, what a nice surprise. Such great balance between sweet fruit and acid. Lots of peaches, honey but ample acid to complement. Long aftertaste and now where near its end.

2014 Family Xmas; 12/24/2014-12/25/2014 (Alicante) : Terrific value here. Oremus at its best. Aromas of apricots, honey, penicillin. Acidity balancing rich sweetness on the palate. Supreme quality. Ready to be shared with traditional Spanish desserts. Tremendo relación aquí. Oremus en lo mejor. Aromas a albaricoques, miel, penicilina. La acidez compensa esa abundante dulzura en el paladar. De una calidad suprema. Lista para acompañar turrón alicantino.

Masterclass with Pablo Alvarez, Vega Sicilia (Caveau Wine & Bar, Shaw) : Alcohol :: 10% Beautiful red golden color. Perfume bouquet of roses, black tea, sweet prune and orange marmalade. With time the burn caramel note emerged which is highly attractive. Very sweet and rich at entry but the mid palate can't really be connected and a touch hollow which causes the disjointed finished and pretty short. Need time....

Nice honey amber colour with medium intensity. Nose of fresh peaches, honey and quince.. with a touch of lemon and orange peel to round it off. Powerful flavours of apricot, honey and jam make this a wonderfully balanced wine. Still 'young' at the moment with many many years left on this one.

Amber coloured with a very fresh nose offering plums, red fruit(cherries), sweet spice, vanilla, honey and quince. Very complex. Luscious on palate but with great freshness because of lively acidity that balances 180 g of sugars. Long with great intensity and ageing potential. Bravo.

Clear deep amber. Clean intense and fully developed nose. A true cornucopia of aromas fills the glass and stimulates the mind causing it to wander. Rich in fruit: quince, pergammon, very ripe citrus fruit, fruit compote. Roast nuts against a background of honeysuckle and beeswax not forgetting a hint of wild mushrooms. Sweet, medium + body, intense flavours on the palate a mirror of the nose, low alcohol & tannins all balanced by high acidity. Did I say cornucopia? Guys …

Glossy golden colour. Floral and aromatic with orange peel and classic botrytis notes. Opulent yet remarkably fresh with the crisp acidity balancing the sweet, flavoursome honeyed peaches, tea and barley sugar. Delicate ginger spice on the long finish. Lovely.
