Drinking beautifully, reached peak but feels like it’ll stay there for a long window.

Deep garnet in color. Nose of barnyard, ripe cherries, earth, and hint of tobacco. Tastes of tart cherries, tobacco, leather, vanilla, and autumnal spices. Lovely wine with pleasant acidity and outstanding fruit. Improved with aeration. Resolved tannins. Tastes very young. Drink now and over the next 7-10 years.

Some bricking at the rim. Nose of earth, leather, rust and ripe red fruit. Some dried tart cherries, red currant, slate-like minerality, and plum on the medium-bodied palate. Medium slightly tannic finish. Nice acidity. Mellows out with a few minutes air. Decidedly masculine wine. Drinkable now -2025.

Dark core with a slightly aged brick red rim. On the nose earthy, poopy barnyard aroma, meat juice, old leather, enveloped within ripe red fruit. Pronounced attack of tart raspberries, strawberries, and sour cherries, spice laden mid-palate, with a rustic chewy finish that still has some mouth cleansing acidity and tannins left. A mid to full bodied wine, a bit alcoholic on the end, that is definitely made to enjoy with food.

Drinkable, but not good.
