Good red quaffer with pretty fruit, not as dark as some vintages despite 54% Syrah. The wine opened up and was far more enjoyable on days 2 and 3, with more approachable tannins. (89 day 1 to 91 subsequent days)

We liked this… bright fruits on nose with some green pepper and burnt rubber. Berries. Not much on the finish but easy drinking.

Excellent new world Rhone blend. Lovely fruit and a tinge of garrigue. Makes me want more californian wines.

S(54),G(29),Mou(13). Medium-light red, nice flinty French nose. Light body, decent fruit. A bit sharp at first but softens and opens after an hour of breathing into nice light fruity red.

Elegant, pleasant and pleasingly shape-shifting with every sip, which means Patelin de Tablas Rosé is both complex and subtle, which is rare in wine, particularly Rosé. This is a wine that showcases the talent and skill of the winemaker Neil Collins who superbly blended grapes from ten vineyards and four grape varietals, and to top it off, managed to keep the alcohol level at 12.5%. Wow. I'm impressed and I'm not a newbie to Tablas Creek. This is fantastic wine. …

This is a very good blend. I enjoyed it with some spicey/barbequed chicken.

Juicy, spicy, faceted, lingering finish - what's not to like? I'm kinda surprised considering this is a Paso Robles winery and they created a very drinkable, versatile offering at 13% ABV! Very good and reasonably priced - will buy a few more :)

TWS Autumn/Winter Press Tasting 2024 (67 Pall Mall) : Slightly crunchy with some eucalyptus, a bloody, meaty note, rose, blackberry and strawberry. Quite heady and inviting, if placeless. Brightness and concentration on the palate - chewy tannin proving structure. Quite nice but unsure when or why I'd drink it.

Pale ruby in color; cherries, raspberries, and dried herbs on the nose; medium minus acidity; low tannins; tastes like pomegranates, hibiscus, and camphor with a long finish. Nellie likes it, and so do I.

Juicy, savory, and spicy with an old world character. Mostly a blend of Syrah and Grenache, and flattering to both varieties. Plummy, flavorful, and went well with marinated beef, rice pilaf, eggplant, and okra.

Light ruby color. Bouquet first presented with a strong licorice and tobacco accents. After decanting a little over a hour dark fruit accents emerged. Nice amount of acidity with a very smooth finish.

Nose: Strawberry/cherry hard candy, wet rocks, heavy alcohol. Palate: A candied mix of strawberry and cranberry that I always associate with grenache-heavy wines. Surprising as syrah is the main grape in this blend. Dried herbs and faint fennel. Medium+ tannins, medium- body, medium acidity. The candy character comes back in the finish. Similar to their white with the cotton candy note, this one had a persistent hard candy thing going on that wore on me. Not a badly made wine …

Very nice. This wine was much lighter than expected given its composition, but it is very well balanced and flavorful. Easy to pair easy to sip. It's a 2022 vintage, so still quite young, but ready to enjoy.

From 3L box. Tasted after several days of opening. Very fruity. Some dusty tannins. Strawberry fruit. Good balancing crunch. One of the best boxed wines I have ever had.

Light and refreshing. The GSM doesn't take after the steriotypical over extracted California wine.
