I was expecting more from this wine--some smoky nuances, for example. Ultimately it was simple, dark ripe fruit and some slightly bitter oakiness. I wouldn't buy it again.

Interesting and enjoyable wine. 12.7% alcohol. Tart, light-bodied. A little rustic.

I thought this was terrible. Perhaps suffered some heat damage in transit, but the cork did not indicate any seepage. Tried two bottles side by side and concluded that there is no structure, little fruit and not much to be excited about. Gave the rest away.

i concur with the previous reviewer, Meyer regularly punches above its weight. this bottle had nice rounded dark fruit on the entry with a nice full juicy mouth feel and finishes with a very smooth and balanced, not overpowering or harsh spiciness. nicely done! i would buy again.

i continue to be very impressed with the qpr and typicity of the mfc wines. This bottle fit that continuing mold.

I haven't had a bottle of this in a year. It is very drinkable now smooth with lots of fruit showing. I say drink now or in a year it won get any better. This is a great syrah and great price.

Purchased off the list at Wood Tavern. First glass of wine in a couple of weeks due to a bad cold. Easy and smooth entry of silky fruit; light weight in body; thin fruit and showing heat; ends with a short finish. Fair.

AVTG does GSM blind (Roman Vineyard) : Tasted blind. Very dark garnet. Tire rubber, liquid smoke, medicinal black cherry on the nose. Very tight, with a strong dill-coconut oak component to go with leathery cherry notes. Needs time.
