Served w Poppy’s pizza at family dinner. Easy drinking. Enough going on yet not heavy on tannins and fruit forward. Everyone liked!

L: dark, inky, red, opaque S: fruit, alcohol T: fruit, pleasant, prune MF: dry, juicy, smooth, velvetty almost, thin F: short very unoffensive. would not buy again (technically never bought since it was "free" with a WSJ wine subscription which we have long since cancelled since it was a ripoff).

A fine everyday drinker. Would be an excellent box wine. Ripe red fruits and berries on the nose, with hints of leather and tobacco and lots of vanilla. Taste is fruit-forward, with more plums and black cherries. Wouldn’t buy again, but wouldn’t say no to a gift bottle.

The wine looks brick colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like plum and alcohol/hot. It tastes like blackberry, blueberry, cranberry and raspberry. The body is light/medium. The wine has flabby texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. Would drink again. Would not buy again.

Initially quite tannic and nice savoury finish with coffee and black olive notes following dark cherry flavours. Softened a lot once open an hour or so, more generous fruit with bramble, but little in the way of finish and, overall, I liked it less as the bottle went down.

D1 - needs more time to breath than you think. Decanting would be a good idea. Limited fruit on aroma- serving at 59f may be a limiting fact here. Has the big taste and tannic mix expected from this Sangiovese price range. Cherries are there (try with some high coca chocolate to get a full cherry hit - you’ll be surprised). Mid tastes of tobacco fading in to tannic trail off. Not long lasting. D2 - softened in all respects …

Very aromatic - sweet cherries. A mouthful of fruitiness with soft scintillating acidity and low tannin. Not cheap, but worth it.

The wine looks crimson colored. It smells like blueberry, forest floor, cherry and coffee. It tastes like blackberry, cherry, forest floor, coffee, oak and eucalyptus. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. Also hints of cocao. Exceptional value at the price.

Solid, easy-drinking wine full of ripe blueberry flavors. At its price, pick up two for friends who love wine but aren’t connoisseurs.

For the quality of this wine It drinks well. Good fruit, good velvety finish. It one of those wines that has surprising features but the whole is less than the parts. Still a good wine at the $10 I got it for. I hope I can keep the last bottle for a year or two to see if those parts integrate to improve the whole.

Low tannins. Long cherry finish. Slightly dry and thinner than we usually like our wines. Had with meatloaf and scallop potatoes. Enjoyable. Long finish.
