I agree with the latest tasting notes - although the vintage shines through, the producer does exactly the same; still some bite and acidity to it. I will cellar my other three bottles for at least 5 years.

At Wu's Wonton King. Perhaps a little bit softer and less cut than I would expect for a Falkenstein, but that's the 2018 vintage for you. Easy-going and very enjoyable now without too much fuss; very nice mineral chew here. Not as complex with a heart-on-its-sleeve expressiveness, but delicious all the same.

My impressions are very similar to acyso - liked this a lot, found it surprisingly rich for a Falkenstein Kabinett, but it's one I'd happily put in the cellar and see what happens with another decade or so.

一开始香气还比较隐约，如梦幻泡影，清新的柑橘、白桃、柠檬、醋栗，一切都如朦胧的轻纱漫舞，似乎雾气，犹抱琵琶，中后段出现一些新鲜柠檬草等草本，细致而光滑的矿和些许石灰粉，在醒酒过后会出现一点松子的油脂感。入口酸度锐利、高挑而强烈，线性地流动于口腔，直抵喉咙，还能激起丝丝生津。酒体中，集中度高，结构感好，薄薄一层萃取物，如轻轻抚摸舌面一般，涟漪一般，随着醒酒这种酥麻感会变得强烈些。果味层次感好，柚子、白油桃、葡萄柚、油柑等，略带一些花蜜，几朵白花。清澈至极，又活泼明朗，泉水叮咚，激起的水珠在阳光下熠熠生辉，还有沁凉感。中后段带有些马鞭草、新鲜的番茄叶和薄荷之类的味道，伴随着打磨得光滑的矿物感，带咸鲜，十分经典，是理想中的Kabinett。美中不足的是收尾略短。94+/100

Nice minerality and acidity, but the flavors are more muted than my bottle of a year earlier. I think it's in a dumb phase now. I'm going to hold my remaining bottles for another 5 years minimum; it will be interesting to see how they age. Recommend hold.

Decided to try this based on the notes here. Lovely mango and creamy flavors, and strongly mineral. This didn't have the density, tension, or electricity expected. And it didn't improve substantially over a few nights. Not sure if the problem was with me or the bottle. Very interested to try another one soon.

Just got it, had to try it. I opened the bottle about 2 hours ago and this glass has been sitting out for maybe 30 minutes. (When poured it is really wound and potent). Lunch (YongYong, Trier) : True Kabinett in its best sense. Still very young. Reductive and yeasty nose. A bit closed and muted on the palate, but you can sense, that there is a killer in the making. Airy and light as a feather, but also with an enormous density and extract. Lots of herbs and laserlike acidity! Give it 2-3+ more years or a decent decant. 92-93+
