had with dinner tonight and were suprised at the tannin to this puppy. tomatoes went well, salame also. i think this should lay for a couple of more years, though...

From Kermit Lynch's mailer, December 2004: This is a blend of Barolo (Nebbiolo) and 20 percent Barbera, ready to drink. There is sweet, luscious fruit, thick with Piedmont character and the taste of ripe grapes. Very unusual, such a pretty wine with such a big, chewy tannin.
