Pietro Nera Chiavennasca Alpi Retiche Bianco La Novella

Pours very pale. Nose is very mild/barely there lemon zest and mineral. Very light and clean. Mild lemon, slight distilled vinegar (that faded the more I drank) , some sweet melon and a wisp of cream in the finish. Well balanced between the acid and the sweetness, with sweetness laying down the slightest lingering presence on the finish. Not complex but a fine accompaniment to a meal. L+

Very interesting wine. Tropical fruit and creaminess up from with balanced acid and a long mineral finish. Would be great with seafood. Excellent QPR.

Not incredibly complex but very pleasant ripe peach flavors and balanced acidity
