Pale lemon color. Burgundian in style, quite intense, fresh and oaky. Toasted hazelnut, vanilla, fresh lemon, juicy pear, jasmin. Palate is slightly fruitier (passion fruit?). Medium (+) acidity, medium body, moderate alcohol (13.1) oaky bitter finish. Oak aromas clearly dominate and it’s hard to get past these at this point. Perhaps time will allow better integration. 89

FLX TRIP NOTES; 7/4/2019-7/31/2019 : interesting wine that needs a bit more time for a better integration of the oak. Bright, juicy citrus fruit, ripe core. savory herb. Oak is a bit prominent on the nose and palate for me but i am very sensitive to that.
