Lovely mature garnet; very fragrant and refined, reminiscent of very old vintage port, floral and spicy, autumnal, with red and orange fruit; thinning but with some real Amarone glycerine, not dried out at all, firm structure; good length, dried fruit. Fond memories.

Fascinating nose, deep and ethereal, autumnal and perfumed, well-defined and transparent; lovely tannins and acidity give the wine its firm core, is losing some weight but dry but well-balanced, black and dried cherry fruit; good extract and length.

Mature garnet colour, mahogany rim; the nose is clean, transparent and well-defined, with plums, nuts, a touch of cherries and a hint of chocolate, lovely depth; good weight, firm body, pleasant, well-balanced, elegant and pleasant style, drying out a little, with ethereal and complex aromas, lovely Amarone bitters; lovely length. A privilege on my birthday.

Warm, bright garnet; deep, dark, autumnal, lovely ripe and purple amaro, harmonious, fully mature, lively, ethereal topnotes; still has good weight, firmly structured, well-balanced but starting to become slightly rusty, juicy, powerful with good tannins; slightly drying, good length, lovely bitters. Holding up well.

Beautiful, warm and mature appearance, bricky garnet core, orange rim; ethereal nose, leather and tar, hint of alcohol, complex red fruit (cherry, raspberry, rosehip), herbs, harmonious and deep; velvety and rounded, supple and mouthfilling, well-balanced and lively structure, flavours of vanilla and Armagnac, fruit, herbs and tar, mature and becoming thinner but retains some juicy and fleshy fruit, attractive bitters; good length. A complex and mature wine, holding up well.

Fully mature nose, rich and soft, lovely fruit (currants, blackberries, apricots), nuts (almond, walnut), intense, deep, complex and harmonious, wood; civilised, stylish, elegant, powerful core, good acidity, velvety but racy, mouthfilling and lively; very good length, complete, lovely bitters. Mature but improves with air.
