The Bruery Bois (Rye Whiskey Barrel-Aged)

It's been a few years since I've gotten a legitimate taste of this beer, but even still I've been quite satisfied with how it's aging. Compared to my last taste, the peppery kick from the rye barrel has faded quite a bit, but the overall palate is still nicely wood-forward, with the aggressively malty build of the beer allowing a good amount of well-balanced sweetness to shine through. Not perfect, sure, but still an excellent brew!
