The 2019 Bella Union Cabernet Sauvignon is, as one would reasonably anticipate, entirely competent—a wine that behaves exactly the way a Napa Cabernet should, without venturing into the realm of overachievement. Very nice - straddles old world and new world style.

Perfectly good wine. Everyone really enjoyed. Would have liked a touch more body and complexity.

Was not impressed w 1st bottle - need to decant for a couple of hours on the next one

Blueberry compote and mint leaf notes on the nose with a tart jammy palette and the signature Rutherford dust chalky finish. A bit dry overall but a lush elegant rounded wine with legs to boot.

Big, ripe fruit, oak driven wine. Chocolate, blackberry jam and mint on the nose. Modest tannins, medium acidity and gentle warmth from the alcohol. Flavours are slightly sweet, continuing from the nose with jammy black fruit, leather and vanilla. Not a wine meant for aging. Disappointing for the price. Drink now.

Pop n pour and easy crowd favorite. Didn’t take good notes. Fresh black and red fruit. Vanilla clove. Well integrated tannins that balance out the wine.

Raspberries, cherries and vanilla. Ruby red color. Good structure but needs about 45 minutes to open up. A second label of Far Nete.
