This is one of these "blue zone" wines made from Sardinian cannonau (grenache) grapes. These grapes have elevated amounts of flavonoids...which is supposed to promote vascular health. Some people in Sardinia live to be 100 drinking a glass or two a day of this stuff (along with incorporating exercise and healthy eating).
