Grans-Fassian, Leiwener Laurentiuslay Riesling GG, Mosel

Part of a Germany 2024 (whites) and 2021-2023 (reds) tasting hosted by a vendor. 2024 was not an easy year as yields in parts of Germany suffered from Spring frosts. Tasting various regions and producers side by side impressively displayed the massively varying styles. My favorites were the reds from Fürst (unrivalled), Bassermann-Jordan Jesuitengarten (2015) and Immich-Batterieberg Batterieberg (2024 and 2016 Reserve).
