This wine is in its peak window! From the first pour to the last sip, beautiful blending of all taste elements with a long finish. Not many winemakers can produce outstanding Francs. It is not an easy grape for an outstanding single varietal wine. Kudos to the outstanding team at 29! Cheers.

PnP, plum in color. A bit of a gamey, briny nose, with black fruit. Palate is black cherry, tobacco, tar, oak. Full bodied, medium, slightly clipped finish. Touch of a bitter aspect, and moderately tannic. Decent complexity and profile, but I would wait.

Two hour decant. Olive tapenade on the initial taste. Evolved nicely into blueberry compote, white chocolate with nice cedar and spice notes. The wine was a delight!

Blend of Aida and Estate vineyards. More Cab Franc in this than their other wines. Showy style, black, blue, dark red fruits, sweet spice, full body but velvety style, Melka style. Very nice wine. Drinking young, should last for quite a while.
