The complete lack of fruit surprised me. Not a re-buy.

Took to a picnic. Very enjoyable. If only more CA Chards were like this. Fruit shines, without the cloying and intrusive butteriness and oak that plague so many CA Chards. Reasonably good acidity and balance. Would be curious to age a bottle for a bit and see its evolution.
