Tenuta Santa Maria Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Supple nose of concentrated jammy sweet berry fruit, toffee, bitter almond, baking spice and herbs. Fullbodied and fruity palate with slight grip and balanced acidity. Very clean and pure fruit for an amarone with some complementing chocolate, herbs and baking spice. Long. I prefer my amarone funkier, but points for the seldom seen purity within this particular category.

Voluptuous, tempting, port-like nose with dark cherries and baking spices predominant. Full, round mouthfeel. Soft yet gripping tannins. Insanely long finish!
