**Sparkling Friday** (14/20) Decent Cava. Not the most complex wine, slightly bitter finish, but good freshness and easy drinking. Medium+ intense aromas of red apple, white grapefruit, lemon, nectarine, blossom, toast, almond, wet stone. Dry wine, high acidity, light body, medium flavour intensity, medium length finish. 11,5% ABV - served @ KLM Cityhopper business class

Pale green color with subtle lemon yellow highlights. Quite predictable nose: ripe, apple-driven fruit and some fresh citrus fruits with very little of anything else. At first there was a distinctive hint of coconut sunscreen cream, but that note blew off very quickly. The wine is dry, light-bodied and pretty linear on the palate with flavors of tart green apples, some apple peel bitterness and a green-toned, vegetal hint of grassy character along with a subtle note of honey that …
