In perfect shape now. Round, well integrated, only little acid left. May have lost some of its complexity recently. good to drink now, always as the final wine of an evening.

Die Forelle 2023: No ice skating at the Weissensee; 1/21/2023-1/27/2023 (Techendorf, Austria) : From 50-80 year old vines, typically harvested as late as possible to make it into a dry white wine. Medium+ intensity on the nose with petrol, candied lemon, white peach, minerality, cantaloupe melon. Medium+ acidity, long finish. Typical riesling, a bit more precise and lean than the smaragd I had yesterday. 91-92
