Had with Baked Cod. Not as good as it was late August. Some herbal and grass on the nose and opened with a decent crisp apple, but quickly gave way to a tart grapefruit pith.

Pungent yet pure with all sorts of gooseberry and grassy aromas and flavours. It is an amazing wine for the price and amount that is made and shows that the attention to detail that the Giesen brothers employ in both vineyard and winery certainly pays dividends.

Not bad. Pretty basic SB with a fresh citric zinginess. Nice and dry. Hollow in the middle and a little sour and acidic on the finish though.
