SonkinCellars Partners Meeting (The Barn) : I haven't had this vintage in a while. Its still outstanding if different than release. The floral quality is gone from the nose. Left is a mineral quality with a bit of fruit, perhaps peach. On the palate, the acidity is more pronounced but still well within bounds. Perhaps its even more food friendly. Still crisp and not tasting over the hill in any way. Some lemony notes on the finish. I would drink …

Stunningly beautiful, and, sadly, our last bottle. No flaws. No sediment. No rim variation. Simple amazing nose. Full of citrus. Low alcohol taste. No tannin. Medium finish. Perfectly drinkable. Cannot estimate bottle life, but, should go several more years.

Charity Dinner (Rhys, Corra, Clerc Milon +++) : Light golden in color. The nose has strong aromatics. A floral note, honeysuckle? Also some minerals and slight wax notes. Crisp and clean. Showing some complexity as it has shed some fruit, not all but developed some layering. Very nice.

Wow, loved this wine. Peaches, minerals, light fruit scents on the nose. On the palate, great balance, nice complexity. Lighter fruits, minerality, decent acidity, nice long finish. Wonderful by itself. As others have said, becomes a bit more expressive as it starts to warm in the glass. Unfortunately, this is the only bottle I have. 92 pts. Aloha!

Not a 'stunner' but truly wonderful. As others have noted, this has expressive fruit, stone and impeccable balance. Not finesseful or texturally complex. Good match for a range of foods.

Aromatic nose with floral, fruit; palate of stone fruit and tropical fruit, medium acidity, lemony, overall creamy but still light mouthfeel, great balance, medium length finish. Excellent wine, one of the first viogniers I've tried that I've actually liked.

Not as flamboyant as last summer, but still outstanding. Its gotten rounder and dropped a slight bit of fruit. Great texture. Nice complexity. Delicious on its own or with some Flat-bread with caramelized onions, arugula and balsamic.

Drank my ast bottle of this last night with a kale salad that has a predominatley lemony dressing. This waxy, viscous white was a perfect compliment to it. This is so good and has so many subtle flavors at work. Definite stone fruit not sure which, a bit of butterscotch, some nice clove spice and some minerality at play. There is another note that I think is spot on that this wine gets better as it comes up to room …

Initially a little reserved when cooler. But warms up to be beautiful wine, expressing the aromas and viscosity of the Viognier and the acidity and backbone of the Marsanne.

this was really a great drinking bottle....50% Marsanne, 50% Viognier. Nice medium body wine that was crisp and excellent with our crab cakes. Great value and something I would definitely buy again.

Blind White Throwdown (Our House (2033 Brandywine St., Philadelphia)) : Showed very well. Good acidity. Peach, apricot. Nice tropical fruit flavors blended with good acidity. A touch of oak on the mid-palate and some heat at the finish. Otherwise, really solid offering.

This continues to drink beautifully. Just the right balance of fruit to start, passing through several interesting layers of flavor, then the minerality kicks in through the finish taking it to another level. Hard not to drink!

Bright golden color, with delicate aromas of peach, citrus fruits, flint, and vanilla. The palate shows creamy white fruit and liquid mineral flavors wrapped in a fruity citrus core of pink grapefruit, lemon, and lime. Fleshy and rich through the midpalate, with a clean, lengthy finish.

Drank this at E and B's engagement dinner. Beautiful gold color. A fruit nose, although I couldn't recognize the fruit when I tasted this. Enjoyable wine. Good QPR!

Fabulous nose of talc, butterscotch, a pleasing touch of nettle, beeswax and spicy tropical fruits. Full bodied but lively, with intriguing herby, nutty acsents. The finish has talc, wet rock and power framed by racy acids. Excellent.

Rhone Rangers San Francisco 2010 (Fort Mason) : Beautiful fruit, with a floral honeyed component from the Viognier, and a more mineral, spicy foundation from the Marsanne, all wrapped in a taut, crisp package. If you haven't been converted to white wine, or are looking for something that's not Chardonnay, this is the one.

Gretna Green, Outpost, Saxum, Jonata : Green/gold in color. What a lovely nose. Very floral with a steely minerality. Complex and also some kiwi notes. Medium bodied with a silky texture. On the palate, this is much tighter. Perhaps it opens, but I am not sure how well this ages. During dinner, it did open up nicely with limes and minerals. I really like this wine and will drink mine up this spring and summer. Went well with hummus and …

Lovely stuff. Bright and crisp with a mellowing finish. Internal core of minerally notes, tropical fruits like in a green papaya salad (not the blowsy kind.) Nice cut. Really enjoyed it and played well with a spicy shrimp and grits.
