It's from vines very close to, I think Cote Rotie. JLL says this is a WOW (what one wants) wine, and interestingly, he strongly urges young drinking, enjoy the fruit. Super bon ! Une très belle surprise, je ne l'attendais pas à ce niveau. Couleur peu soutenue sans trace notable d'évolution contrairement au nez, très chouette sur le tabac, la cendre, à l'aveugle je serais parti sur la bourgogne ou même bordeaux... Light color, pale crimson, with darker glints. On the nose, raw meat, garrigue, pepper, a bit funky. The palate is fresh, light bodied, with a nice finish on orange and grapefruit notes. Not too far away from a (good) Crozes Hermitage. This is a nice wine.

Not much on the nose. A rich translucent red colour with a slight pale rim. Pronounced acidity on the palate but well balanced by the fruit, some secondary flavours on the finish. Tannins are smooth and well integrated. This is a nice young syrah which will match a wide range of food. OK PQR at EUR 10.

C: Velvety dark burgundy red. N: Forest floor and strawberries. Also darker forest fruits and some licorice supporting the nose. A bit closed, and no pepper as one might expect. P: Nice concentration of forest fruits, balanced sweetness/licorice and some acidity. Perhaps a bit flabby and one dimensional. O: A very nice Syrah and good quality for the price.

Ordered this at on a recommendation of the sommelier. Very light, almost Pinot like in its weight; comes in at 12.5% alcohol. Nice acids up front made this a very food friendly wine. Light, lively with slight raspberry and white pepper and slight minerality. Thanks for the recommendation Kyle

Smooth, touch of black pepper, nice dark fruit, well balanced. Went beautifully with gingerbread (pepperkaker) and blue cheese.
