Very nice. Soft cork like in other review but no obvious problem with the wine. Well balanced, but just lacks the racy-ness of a great MC auslese.

This came together very nicely with an hour or two of air time; copper in the glass; nose is a bit muted but the wine is gorgeous on the palate giving honeyed apricot, baked peaches, orange rind and complimentary notes of diesel, smoke and teal. Dark golden color. Sweet non-oxidized nose with honeysuckle, peach and apricot. Pillowy-soft mouthfeel almost floating just above the surface of my tongue. Flavors of apricot, peach and a hint of honey. Not overly sweet. No petrol, little minerality. Long finish with some candied ginger nuances. Remarkably light on it's feet. WOW!
