How they can mess up this is beyond me. If served blind, I would be confused as to whether it was a sauvignon or chardonnay. It has a slight aroma of elderflower which steams off and is replaced by unripe pears. On the palate it displays greenish fruit and slight smoky tone. No distinction. Not horrible, just extremely generic and irrelevant.

For the price a decent and easy-to-drink, yet somewhat anonymous Macon-villages. Hints of tropical fruit and white flowers, a bit of citrus and apple acidity
